CHILD CARE CENTRE

This application comprised the construction of a two storey purpose built Child Care Centre with on site car parking and associated landscaping nestled within a residential area. The application involved reviewing all the relevant planning provisions, neighbourhood character, dealing with traffic engineers to ensure traffic safety, as well as persuading the council that the proposal had sufficient car parking and met all the relevant planning criteria. An Acoustical Engineering report was also prepared to ensure compliance with noise level
requirements.
All the concerns raised by the council were resolved quickly and there were no objections lodged to the planning application. The building was designed to portray a residential appearance consistent with the scale and character of the surrounding area. A planning permit was issued allowing construction to begin on this new exciting project that not only caters for the local community but also a greater population catchment. The Childcare Centre has been successfully operating for 12 months and accommodates a total of 70
children.
