This extension is a modern, contemporary and innovative interpretation of the traditional architectural style in the street to be in keeping with architectural style of the dwelling on site and the dwellings in the immediate and surrounding area. The first floor level is significantly recessed with a contemporary flat roof.
The combination of varying roof styles, recessed first floor and mixture of materials including alucobond cladding to first floor level walls with steel framed and glazed balustrade with obscure curved film banding ensure the extension sits comfortably within the heritage streetscape and presents aesthetically pleasing.
